Mr. Tommy James, I must tell you that your music defines, for me, what the late 60s were all about. The love, the war, the hope, the chaos and the excitement of new teenage discoveries are all in your lyrics and in your melodies. When I hear Crystal Blue Persuasion, I'm cruising in my dad's '67 Chevelle with my buddies on endless summer days and nights. When I hear Sweet Cherry Wine, I'm thinking about Vietnam and wondering what my draft number will be. It was 49, by the way and I joined the Navy. When I hear you on SiriusXM radio, I am very glad we are all still around and you're making great music and I'm singing along. Thank you for being a big part of my life, then and now.
